Ma langue maternelle est anglais. J'ai apprendu français en Canada, jusqu'a 12ième classe. Mais, j'ai oublié la plupart de français. Ma grammaire peut être erronée.

As a person whose mother tongue is English, with some acquired French, working on this wiki is a bit more odd than working on the en wiki. Normally for English, all Japanese terms are translated and most katakana already sound out English, so they're straightforward translations, some exceptions apply.
So it's a bit weird when working on a foreign language wiki where different problems arise. Two exist in particular. The decision to translate the vast amount of English katakana must now be made. History of use does play a part in this - most of Marisa's spell cards I translated into French, with the exception of Master Spark, simply because the name itself is very memorable.
The other is the existence of English terms from a Japanese origin. As the en Touhou Wiki is popular, their terminology seems to spill into other wikis (e.g. Scarlet Devil Mansion, The Great Fairy Wars, etc.) The problem is that these titles were not English to begin with (e.g. koumakan, yousei daisensou), so when translating J>F, the English should not exist. Hence, Manoir du Démon Écarlate from koumakan and Fairy Wars from an alt title.
